Don Bosco's Four Elements of EducationSt. Don Bosco believed education was a matter of the heart. He made sure these four elements were present in every Salesian mission that works to growth of the whole child:
- A Home that welcomes, fostering belonging and mutual respect
- A School that educates for life, emphasizing academic achievement and moral integrity
- A Church that evangelizes
- And a Playground where children have fun, and friendships flourish
Whether in the classroom, during recess, or in the chapel, students feel at home and have opportunities to grow-all while having fun.

The Preventative systemSt. John Bosco’s educational philosophy, known as the Preventative System, emphasizes Reason, Religion, and Loving Kindness as guiding principles to touch the hearts of young people and lead them toward holiness. Though more than a century old, this timeless approach continues to inspire and shape the spirit of Villa Madonna today.
Reason - We recognize young people’s ability to think, understand, and take ownership of their actions. We set clear boundaries and explain their purpose. We encourage feedback and participation, which nurtures creativity, curiosity, and growth.
Religion - We recognize the natural spirituality and wonder in each young person. Through our Catholic faith and moral formation, we strive to support the work done by their parents to offer young people the Christian vision of life: one created by a loving God, who desires their good, and creates a moral order for their ultimate happiness.
Loving Kindness - “Without trust, there can be no true education.” - St. John Bosco. We strive to know each young person personally, treating them with kindness, compassion, and understanding. By recognizing their individual stories and experiences, we build the trust needed to accompany them through life’s challenges, and remind them that they are valued.

Meet the Sisters (and Postulant!)
Six Salesian Sisters and one Postulant call the Villa Madonna School convent their home.
Whether they are teaching their classes, cheering for our young people at a sports game, helping out at the Boy's and Girls Club, or running our school events, our dedicated Sisters carry forward the mission of their founders in a spirit of reason, religion, and loving kindness!
